    Cheesy Ham Stromboli

    Cheesy Ham Stromboli

    5 cups of flour
    2 tbsp sugar
    2 tsp salt
    2 pkg dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tbsp butter
    2 cups of chopped ham
    4 cups mozzarella cheese
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp dried basil
    2 tbsp parmesan cheese


    In mixing bowl, combined flour sugar salt yeast. add water milk and butter. beat together on low. Turn onto flour surface, knead until smooth. place into greased bowl, turning once to greese top cover and let rise. put in warm place for about a hr. in a skillet cook ham stir in mozzarella add 2 eggs an basil set aside, punch dough down divide in half roll one portion into a 15 x 10 inch rectangle on a greased baking sheet spoon 1half of the mixture down on one side of the rectangle fold dough over the filling pinch edges together cut 4 slits on top repeat with other dough beat remaining egg brush over loaves sprinkle over parmesan cheese cover and let rise until doubled about 45 min. bake at 375* for 25 min.
