    LeAnn Rimes Favorite Macaroni & Cheese

    LeAnn is such a Sweet person and oh, so talented too, I'm sure she would not mind me sharing her recipe with Yal'. Be sure to buy her CD's too & you'll have a double treat!

    List of Ingredients

    12 oz Elbow Macaroni
    12 oz Sharp Chedder Cheese
    12 oz Mild Chedder Cheese
    1 stick butter, (1/2 cup)
    1 pint Half and Half milk
    Salt and Pepper to taste

    Recipe

    Heat 4 quarts of water.
    Add 2 teaspoons of salt to boiling water.
    Gradually stir in the Elbow Macaroni noodles into the boiling water.
    Cook 9 to 11 minutes stiring occasionally - Do Not overcook.
    Drain the Macaroni noodles.
    Add a little salt and pepper and 1 Tablespoon butter.
    Put half of the Macaroni noodles in a Corning dish.
    Cut the cheese in slices and layer half on top.
    Then pour the rest of the Macaroni noodles on top.
    Layer the rest of the cheese on top of the Macaroni noodles and cut up the rest of the butter and place on top.
    Pour the Half and Half milk on top of the casserole & cover with aluminum foil.
    Bake 45 minutes at 300 degrees,(more if desired),if you want to brown the top you may uncover for a few minutes.
