1 c. flour
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 c. milk
1 egg slightly beaten
skinned chicken pieces
Recipe
Combine flour, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning in bag or bowl. Shake chicken pieces in seasoned flour. Combine milk and egg. Dip floured chicken in milk mixture and shake again in flour mixture to coat evenly. Melt Crisco in pan or deep fryer to 365 degrees. If pan frying, brown pieces on all sides. Reduce heat to 275 degrees and continue cooking until chicken is tender, about 30 to 40 minutes. Turn chicken several times, drain on paper towels. If deep frying, cook chicken for 15 to 18 minutes. Drain.
