Cranberries: Cranapple Pie

3 cups sliced apples
1 TBSP lemon juice
3 TBSP corn starch
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c a.p. flour
1/3 c shredded coconut
1 TBSP white sugar
1 to 1-1/4 cups cranberries
1/2 cup white sugar
pinch salt
13 c light br sugar
1/4 c soft butter
1/3 c chopped pecans
1 9 " pie shell
Recipe
Preheat oven to 425. Slice apples, mix in cranberries, lemon juice. Add to apple mixture. Toss and set aside. Stir brown sugar and flour together, working in butter with a fork until crumbly. Stir in pecans and coconut. Pour cranberry mixture in pie shell and sprinkle on 1 TBSP white sugar over them. Sprinkle on flour mixture. Put pie on cookie sheet and bake on bottom shelf of oven for 10-12 minutes until crust is golden in color. Reduce heat to 350 and bake another 40 minutes.
