Pumpkin-Cranberry-Pecan Muffins

2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
3/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
2-1/2 cups canned pumpkin
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups cranberries, halved
Finely chopped pecans
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 24 muffin cups with non-stick vegetable spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flours, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, soda, allspice, and salt; make a well in the center. Add butter, pumpkin, and eggs, stirring until just moistened. Stir in cranberries. Fill prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the tops of the muffins.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve hot or cold.
