    3-16 oz. cans Great Northern Beans
    1 Tablespoon. olive oil
    2 medium onions, chopped
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    2 4-oz. cans chopped green chilies
    2 tsp. ground cumin
    1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    6 C. chicken broth
    4 C. chopped, cooked chicken breasts
    3 C. grated Monterrey Jack cheese, divided
    Salt
    Ground black pepper
    Sour cream

    Recipe



    Heat oil in large heavy pot over medium-high heat. Add onions; sauté till translucent (about 10 min.) Stir in garlic, chilies, cumin, oregano and cayenne pepper; sauté 10 minutes. Add canned beans and broth and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer. Add chicken and 1 C. cheese; stir until cheese melts. Season for taste with salt and pepper; ladle into bowls. Serve with remaining cheese and sour cream.
