Buy ingredients at the Dollar stores...can also add peanuts, cranberries, raisins, sunflower seeds and /or shelled nuts. I packed the clean plastic icing tubs and label...store refrigerated or frozen. This is a great to do with grandchildren as a fun activity while teaching them about birds..

Bring to a boil:
4 cups water and add 2 cups oatmeal

Remove from heat and stir in:

1 lb. lard
1 cup peanut butter

When cool enough add 1 cup at a time:

3 1/2 cups oatmeal
3 1/2 cups cornmeal
3 1/2 cups cream of wheat
[all uncooked]
knead thoroughly until the consistency to mold or pack into containers. May be frozen..
