    Mulled wine sorbet

    ...mixing 2 tablespoons sugar syrup with a bottle of mulled red wine and pour into a freezer-proof container. Freeze until mushy, then mash with a fork to break up the ice crystals. Freeze until firm. Serve in scoops and decorate with orange zest. To make your own sugar syrup, heat 100g caster sugar and 100ml water in a pan until dissolved and then bring to the boil.
