    List of Ingredients


    2 - 29 oz. cans fruit, or berries and juice OR 6 cups fresh fruit and 1 ½ cup juice or water
    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    4 tbsp. cold water
    cinnamon and nutmeg


    2 1/3 cup Bisquick
    3 tbsp. butter, melted
    1/2 cup milk
    3 tbsp. sugar


    Preheat oven to 400F.
    Heat in sauce pan the fruit and juice.
    Sweeten to taste.
    Bring to a boil.

    Blend cornstarch with cold water.
    Add to boiling fruit and mix for 1 minute.
    Pour into 9x13 glass dish.
    Dot with butter and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top.

    Mix together shortcake mixture and drop by spoonful over top.
    Bake 20 mins.
    Let stand 15-20 mins.
