    Tomatoe Basil Fettuccini

    List of Ingredients


    • 8oz uncooked fettuccini
    • 1/4 cup chopped onion
    • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    • 1 Tablespoon butter
    • 1 14oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/3 cup fat free evaporated milk
    • 1/4 cup chopped basil
    • 2 Tablespoons grated parmesan


    Instructions


    1. Cook fettuccini. Saute onion and red pepper in butter until onion is tender. Add tomatoes and salt; cook and stir over medium heat until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat; let stand 1 minute; Gradually wisk in milk. Drain fettuccini and place in large bowl. Add basil, parrmesan cheese and tomatoe mixture. Toss to coat. 4 servings
