    Baked Penne

    Source of Recipe

    Turbo Cooker Yahoo site

    List of Ingredients

    MAIN INGREDIENTS:
    -----------------
1 lb. Mini Penne (I used Barilla)
6 oz. shredded part skim mozzarella
15 oz. container part skim ricotta
    grated parmesan cheese (to taste)
    non-stick spray

    DRY INGREDIENTS:
    ----------------
(add any spices to taste - I didn't add anything extra ths time
because I used a flavored sauce)

    LIQUID INGREDIENTS:
    -------------------
    5 1/2 cups water
26 oz. jar 5 Brothers Oven Roasted Garlic & Vidalia Onion Sauce (or just use
    whatever sauce you like)

    GET TURBO READY:
    ----------
Spray casserole dish with non-stick spray & coat bottom of casserole dish with
a little of the sauce. Place the casserole dish on the steam rack and set aside.

    LET'S START TURBO COOKING!
    --------------------------
1: Add 4/12 cups of water and 1 lb. mini pennne pasta to base. Cook on medium high
for 11 minutes with valve open and for 4 minutes with valve closed.

2: Transfer cooked penne to large bowl and stir in sauce, ricotta,
& mozzarella. RESERVE A LITTLE OF THE SAUCE, RICOTTA, & MOZZARELLA
TO TOP OFF THE DISH. Transfer the contents of the bowl into the casserole dish.
Add a top layer of sauce, ricotta, & mozzarella with the reserved amounts.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese to taste.

3: Place 1 cup of water in TC base. Place steamer rack with casserole dish into the TC.
Cook on high heat for 10 minutes with valve open.

4; Turn off heat. Remove casserole dish and serve.

Notes: I guess you could assemble the whole dish right in the bottom of the TC,
but I have a small table so I chose to use the casserole dish on top of the steamer rack.
