    1/8 wedge lime
    1 tablespoon sugar, or more to taste
    1 1/2 ounces cachaca, or light rum
    Ice

    Recipe



    Place the lime and sugar in the bottom of a glass. Using the handle of a heavy wooden spoon, crush and mash the lime segment into the sugar.

    Add the cachaca or rum, and stir. Add ice as desired, stir, and serve.
