1 1/2 lbs fresh mushrooms -- quartered
1 tbsp butter
1 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
dash of pepper
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Recipe
Saute mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat 8-10 minutes. Drain well.
Dissolve beef cube in hot water and set aside. Melt 1/4 cup butter in small saucepan, add flour and stir until smooth.
Blend in pepper, cream and beef cube. Stir into mushrooms, pour into greased casserole.
Top with breadcrumbs and cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
