    •1 egg yolk, beaten
    •4 tablespoons butter
    •1/4 cup water
    •2/3 cups brown sugar
    •1/3 cup corn syrup
    •1/4 cup flour

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients and mix well. Cook mixture in top of double boiler over hot water until thickened, stirring frequently. Serve hot or cold over bread pudding, pound cake, gingerbread, or ice cream.
