    Serves 4


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Small pears.
    • Stilton (As much as you want)
    • 1 onion
    • Small carrot
    • butter
    • 2 medium potatoes
    • Cinamon stick
    • sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a pan, poach the pears whole with a cinamon stick, sugar & cover. When poached, remove from heat & chop into cubes.
    2. In another pan melt some butter & add the pears with the onion. Cook gently then add the chopped carrot & potatoes.
    3. After 2-3 minutes add the stock. Cover & simmer for about 30-40 minutes. Don't reduce the juice.
    4. When cooked blitz in a blitzer, season to taste.
    5. Gradually adding in the grated stilton, taste for your own pleasure. As much or as little as you want.


    Final Comments


    Served with a nice baquette or a light salad.
