    Serves 4

    List of Ingredients




    *6 large potatoes
    *1 large onion
    *1 carrot
    *1 very small leek
    *Stock cube
    *Season
    *Bouqet Garni.
    *Bacon
    *Stilton cheese

    Recipe



    1. Wash & peel potatoes, carrot & leek.
    2. Chop all ingrediants.
    3. Heat a pan with a few cubes of butter.
    4. Melt then add the onions, leek & carrot. Season well.
    5. Stirr for a few minutes then add the potators.
    6. After 3-4 minutes add the stock or a stock cube.
    7. Cover with water & add the bouqet garni.
    8. Simmer for an hour. Keep stirring & making sure that the water isn't evaporating.

    When finished, blend & season to taste.

    For the finish.
    Chop & cook the bacon, serve with the grated cheese on top or at the side .

    Bouqet garni.
    Wrap up peppercorns, fresh tyme & a bay leaf in a leek parcel. Tie up with string.
