    Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

    2 medium garlic cloves/minced
    2 t minced fresh rosemary leaves
    1/4 t salt
    ground black pepper
    2 T balsamic vinegar
    1/4 C extra-virgin olive oil
    4 medium portobello mushrooms/stems removed/about 4" in diameter



    Recipe



    Whisk the garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper to taste, vinegar and oil together in a small bowl. Brush the mixture on both sides of the mushroom, season with salt and pepper.

    Grill the mushrooms over a medium hot fire, turning once, until tender and lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Or broil them, top of the mushroom up for 4 or 5 minutes, then turn them over, brush with more of the garlic mixture and broil for 4 or 5 minutes more.
