    Shrimp Soft Tacos with Avocado Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 # large fresh or thawed Shrimp in shells
    3/4 t Chili Powder
    4 flour Tortillas
    1 1/3 C shredded Lettuce
    3/4 C Cilantro flavored Salsa
    1/2 C chopped Avocado
    1/4 C peeled, finely chopped Jicama

    Recipe



    1. Peel and devein shrimp, removing tails. Rinse shrimp; pat dry. Sprinkle chili powder over shrimp and rub in. Thread shrimp onto 4 long skewers.
    2. Preheat grill to medium. Stack tortillas and wrap in foil. Grill shrimp and tortillas, uncovered, until shrimp are opaque and tortillas are heated through, turning shrimp once. Allow 8 to 10 minutes and about 5 minutes for tortillas.
    3. Remove shrimp from skewers. Fill warm tortillas with shredded lettuce and shrimp. Serve with Avocado Salsa.

    Avocado Salsa: combine cilantro-flavored salsa, avocado and jicama. Chill before serving.
