    Cut peeled bananas in half crosswise and insert a craft
    stick into the flat end. Wrap the bananas in plastic wrap and place them in the freezer to firm and hold the stick securely.
    Melt pieces of chocolate candy bars or chocolate chips in a double boiler. Or use a microwave oven with the chocolate placed in a microwave-safe container.
    Holding the banana by the stick, roll or dip it into the
    melted chocolate. Set it on waxed paper to cool slightly. While the banana is still warm, roll it in your favorite topping, such as chopped nuts, toasted coconut, crispy rice cereal, or candy sprinkles.
    Place the bananas on waxed paper to sit until the chocolate is cool and dry to the touch. Wrap the bananas in cellophane and return them to the freezer until ready to serve.
