    Recipe Introduction

Although I list 'low fat' or 'fat free' products here, I sometimes use regular products as well. I haven't found any taste difference. This is a satisfying dinner that can be on the table within a half an hour of preparing.

    List of Ingredients

    1 # ground Turkey
    Garlic Powder, to taste
1/2 C chopped onion (or dried onions), opt.
1/2 C chopped celery (or celery seeds), opt.
    1 small can mushrooms, undrained
    Salt & pepper to taste
    1 C sour cream ( fat free)
1 can cream of celery soup (98% fat free)
    Hot cooked rice or noodles

    Recipe

In a skillet, brown the turkey seasoned with garlic powder; add onion and celery. Add soup, mushrooms, salt
and pepper. Cook about 5 minutes. Finally, add sour cream. Heat over low heat (don't boil) to serving temperature. I prefer this served over noodles, but rice will do in a pinch.
    Note:
Sometimes, I add a pinch of whatever herbs I have on hand, such as ground bay leaves, Mrs. Dash, oregano or basil. Or, sometimes I add a teaspoon or so of dry onion soup mix to this. Whatever strikes my fancy.
