    Oven Method "Sundried" Tomatoes 2

    List of Ingredients

    8 Round, washed Tomatoes, cut in half widthwise
    Kosher Salt
    Freshly Ground Black Pepper
    1 Small bunch Fresh Basil
    Olive Oil

    Recipe

    Arrange Tomatoes cut side up on Oiled baking sheet. Generously season with Salt and Pepper and Garlic.
    Place 1 Basil leaf on each Tomato. Drizzle with Olive Oil.
    Bake @ 200* until Tomatoes have shrunk and are almost dry (about 6-8 hours). Do not allow them to brown or dry out completely. Let cool.
    Transfer to sterile pint jars. Cover with Olive Oil. Seal and refrigerate.
    Will keep up to 1 year.

    Another Method:
    Dry cut Tomatoes on a rack in a 170* oven with door propped open about 12 hours. Pack in jars with Olive Oil.
