    Mixed Fruit Jam*

    List of Ingredients

    8 oz. Mixed Dried Fruits, diced with scissors
    2 1/2 C Water
    1 (20 oz) Can Crushed Pineapple
    1 1/2 C Sugar
    1/4 C Lemon Juice

    Recipe

    In a large pot such as a Dutch oven, combine Fruit and Water. Bring to boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until Fruit is very tender, about 30 minutes. Do NOT drain.
    Add UNdrained Pineapple, Sugar and Lemon Juice.
    Cook, stirring until Sugar dissolves.
    Bring to hard, rolling boil and cook until mixture 'sheets' from a tablespoon (about 10 minutes).
    Spoon into sterilized jam jars. Seal.
    Yield: 6-7 ten ounce jars.

    Delicious and fairly easy. Makes nice gifts.
    I've been making this for many years and if memory serves me correctly, the recipe originally hails from BH&G.
