Faux tomato aspic

List of Ingredients

1 can Stewed tomatoes
1 pkg Lemon-lime gelatin
1 C hot Water
1 T Worcestshire sauce
3 drops Tabasco sauce




Recipe

Process tomatoes in blender or mash to break up. Dissolve gelatin in hot water; stir in worcestshire sauce, tomatoes, and tobasco sauce. Pour into mold; chill until firm. Unmold onto a platter lined with curly lettuce.
This makes a nice ladies luncheon dish when made in a ring mold, then fill center with ice cold shrimp. Also nice served with lemon or orange muffins as an acompaniment.
Make sure you also serve a really decadent dessert........just to even things out. (smile)
