Jell-O Cake
List of Ingredients
Prepare batter for a regular white or yellow two layer cake and put
all but 1 cup of the batter in a 9x13" greased and floured pan and
bake. With the other cup of batter make a small cake for the cook.
When done cool completely.
One large package of your favorite flavor of Jell-O and add the
boiling water and stir until completely dissolved. Now stir in half
of the amount of cold water the package calls for and chill until
almost set. Stir in a large can of drained fruit cocktail and chill
until almost set. Pour over cooled cake and refrigerate until Jell-O
is completely set. Cut in squares to serve. The Jell-O will set up
on top of the cake and is a very pretty dessert. Recipe
