Harper's Own Pasta with Seafood*
List of Ingredients
2 Shallots, peeled and sliced thin
2 Lg Cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 C Olive Oil
1 Bottle (8oz) Clam Juice
1 Can (10 oz) Whole Baby Clams
1/3 # Cooked and Peeled Shrimp
1 t Oregano
1/2 t Thyme
4 Fresh Basil Leaves
Freshly Ground Pepper
1 Can (15 oz) Whole Tomatoes, cut up
8 Large, Fresh Mushrooms
1 # Medium Shell Pasta
Recipe
Lightly saute Shallots, Garlic and Herbs in Olive Oil about 5 minutes. Add Tomatoes, Clam Juice and Juice from Clams.
Meanwhile bring pot of Water to Boil for Pasta. Cook Pasta until tender.
Add Clams, Mushrooms and Shrimp to Tomato Sauce; turn off heat, cover and let sit while Pasta cooks.
When Pasta al dente, drain and top with Seafood Sauce.
I serve this in soup plates as it is juicy.
Italian Bread a 'must' with this to sop up the lovely juice.
