    Never Fail Pie Crust

    List of Ingredients




    5 cups of all purpose flour
    2 & 1/3 cups of shortening (No Substitutes)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg with enough ICED water to make 1 cup
    2 Tablespoons of melted butter & 2 Tablespoons of milk (for tops of pie
    crusts)

    Recipe



    Mix flour & shortening until crumbly, add salt, egg & water mixture.
    Throw onto a floured surface and knead slightly until pliable.
    Yields 4 to 6 crusts and freezes well for up to three months.
