Oriental Crunch Salad
List of Ingredients
1 Medium Head Cabbage, Shredded
8 Chopped Spring Onions (Scallions)
1 C Chopped Celery
8 T Sesame Seeds
2 Pkgs Uncooked Ramen Noodles
8 T Toasted, Slivered Almonds
DRESSING MIX:
3 T Sugar
1/4 C Salad Oil
4 T Rice Vinegar
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Pepper
Recipe
Toast Almonds: spread on cookie sheet in middle of 350 degree oven, bake for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring 2 to 3 times.
Toss shredded Cabbage, Spring Onions and Celery with Dressing Mix. Add Almonds and broken up Noodles just before serving.
Good picnic fare because you can make the salad ahead of time, then add the Noodles and Almonds when you arrive.
