    Source of Recipe

    ?

    Recipe Introduction

Bagna cauda, which means hot bath, is a classic sauce from Piedmont, Italy. Serve with bread, or fresh or grilled vegetables.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 C olive oil
    6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1/2 C melted butter
    10 anchovies; drained and minced

    Recipe

Heat 1/4 C olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and stir 2 minutes until slightly softened but not browned. Add remaining olive oil, butter and anchovies. Heat through and mix thoroughly.
Remove from heat and serve. This is ideally served over a sterno flame, but not necessary. Dip with crusty bread or fresh vegetables.
