    Sauce in 10 minutes!

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 # hot Italian sausage, chopped fine
    1/4 # mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
    14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes (Italian style works well)

    Recipe



    In a large nonstick skillet cook, stir and crumble sausage until it starts
    losing it's raw look, about 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms. Continue cooking
    and stirring until the sausage begins to brown, about 3 minutes longer.
    Add tomatoes with their juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer for 5 minutes longer.
    Makes 3 cups, enough to serve 4 when tossed with one pound cooked pasta.
