    Tropical Salsa (For Fish Tacos)

    Serve this with Fish Tacos (listed under Fish and Seafood).

    List of Ingredients




    1 papaya
    1/2 small pineapple
    1/2 small onion, minced
    2 TBS cilantro, chopped
    2 serrano chilies
    1 lime
    salt

    Recipe



    Remove the rind and seeds from the papaya and the rind and core from the pineapple. Cut both into a small dice and separate into individual bowls. Divide the chopped onion and cilantro between the two bowls. Remove the seeds and veins from the serrano chilies and mince finely. Remove the zest from the lime, mince fine and divide between the two bowls with the minced chilies and the lime juice. Add a pinch of salt and toss to blend ingredients.
    This is yummy with Fish Tacos or any grilled, baked or broiled fish (particularly halibut).
