    Recipe Introduction

If there was ever a complete meal-in-one, this recipe would be the top of the list! You're getting plenty of healthy protein, plus lots of veggies and tummy-filling carbs. Why, I bet you could run a marathon after dining on this dish--but only if you really wanted to!

    Serves 6 (1 cup)

    List of Ingredients

    • 6 cups shredded lose-packed frozen potatoes
    • 1 1/2 cups frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 2 full cups (12 ounces) diced cooked turkey breast
    • 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can Healthy Request Cream of Chicken Soup
    • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons shredded Kraft reduced-fat Chedder cheese
    • 1/2 cup (one 2.5-ounce jar) sliced mushrooms, drained
    • 1/4 cup (one 2-ounce jar) chopped pimiento, drained
    • 1/5 teaspoon black pepper

    Instructions

    1. Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray. In prepared container, combine potatoes, broccoli, and onion. Stir in turkey. Add chicken soup, chedder cheese, mushrooms, pimiento, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Mix well before serving.

    Final Comments

HINTS: 1. Mr. Dell's frozen shredded potatoes are a good choice, or raw shredded potatoes may be used in place of frozen potatoes
    2. Thaw broccoli by placing in a colander and rinsing under hot water for one minute.
    3. If you don't have leftover, purchase a chunk of cooked turkey breast from your local deli.
