    Savory Harvard Beets

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup pourable Splenda or Sugar Twin
    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 cup hot water
    • 1/4 cup white vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    • 4 cups (two 16-ounce cans) whole beets, rinsed and drained


    Instructions


    1. Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray.

    2. In prepared container, combine Splenda, flour water, vinegar, and parsley flakes.

    3. Add onion and beets.

    4. Mix well to combine.

    5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.

    6. Mix well before serving.
