    Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 slices low calorie sandwich bread (40 calories of less per a slice)
    • 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
    • 1 Tablespoon jam, jelly or preserves
    • 1/4 cup egg beater
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
    • Cinnamon to tast


    Instructions


    1. Using bread, peanut butter and jelly, make a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.

    2. Pour the egg beaters into a shallow dish.

    3. Sprinkle with cinnamon and stir together.

    4. Dip the sanwich in the egg mixture, turning to soak both sides.

    5. Spray a non stick skillet with butter flavored cooking spray. Place the sandwich in skillet and cook, turning as needed, untill both sides are lightly browned.

    6. Lightly sprinkle sandwich with powdered sugar and serve hot.
