    Recipe Introduction

Even if your children are passionate about cheeseburgers, you'll be delighted by their smiles when you serve this instead! It's fun to find your cheeseburger flavor in a flakey, crusty pie, and it looks just beautiful when you carry it to the table. The only fast food in your house tonight will be Mom-made!
    Serves 8

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 Pillsbury unbaked refrigerated 9-inch piecrust
    • 8 ounces ground 90% lean turkey or beef
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1/2 cup dill pickle relish
    • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 2/3 cup Carnation Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded Kraft reduced-fat Chedder cheese

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 415 degrees. Place piecrust in a 9-inch pie plate. Flute edges and prick bottom and sides with tines of a fork. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, in a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown meat and onion. Stir in dill pickle relish. In a covered jar, combine flour, dry milk powder, and water. Shake well to blend. Add milk mixture to meat mixture. Mix gently to combine. Stir in 1/4 cup Chedder cheese. Pour mixture into piecrust. Continue baking for 15 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup Chedder cheese over top and continue baking for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Place pie plate on a wire rack and let set for 5 minutes. Cut into 8 servings.
