    Serves 8 (2 each)


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons (2 1/4 ounces) quick oats
    • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 2/3 cup pourable Splenda
    • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
    • 1 egg or equivalent in egg substitute
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 1/3 cup water


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray an 8-by-8-inch baking dish with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, Splenda, and cocoa. Stir in walnuts. Add egg, vanilla extract, and water. Mix well to combine. Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-22 minutes or just until edges are firm and the center is almost set. Place baking dish on a wire rack and let set for 5 minutes. Cut into 16 squares. Continue cooling in dish on wire rack.
