    Paddington Stuffed French Toast

    Recipe Introduction


    If you grew up watching Paddington Bear this will bring back warm memories. And even if you don't even know who Paddington is, this is a ray of sunshine to any morening breakfast!
    Serves 1


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 slices light bread (40 calories or less per slice)
    • 2 tablespoons fat free cream cheese
    • 1 tablespoon sugar free marmalade (10 calories per tabelspoon)
    • 1/3 cup eggbeaters
    • 1/8 teaspoon orange extract
    • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 teaspoon orange zest


    Instructions


    1. Spread cream cheese on one slice of bread. Spread marmalade on other slice. Place slices of bread together to make sandwich. Whisk eggbeaters, orange extract, vanilla extract, and 2 teaspoons orange zest together. Dip both sides of sandwich quickly, completely coating in eggbeater mixture. Spray skillet with Pam. Cook sandwich on both sides, over medium to medium high heat, till golden brown. Place on plate. Sprinkle addition teaspoon of orange zest over top.
