    Recipe Introduction


    My kids just loved this version of chili-on-a-bun, and I bet your loved ones will jump on the bandwagon too! It's a quick and hearty meal for all year round, and perfect with a cup of tomato soup on the side.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 ounces extra-lean ground sirloin beef or turkey breast
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
    • 1 (8-ounce) can Hunt's Tomato Sauce
    • 1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
    • 2 teaspoons chili seasoning
    • 1 Tablespoon Splenda Granular
    • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
    • 4 small hamburger buns


    Instructions


    1. In a large skillet sprayed with olive oil-flavored cooking spray, brown meat, onion, and green pepper. Stir in tomato sauce and pinto beans. Add chili seasoning. Splenda, and parsley flakes. Mix well to combine. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. For each serving, spoon about 2/3 cup meat mixture between each hamburger bun.
