    List of Ingredients




    2 cups self rising cornmeal
    1 Tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 cups sweet milk
    2 cups finely chopped Vidalia onions

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients, except onions (batter will be thin). Stir in onions, mixing well. Pour into a well-greased iron skillet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until light brown. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
