    Baked French Toast with Pecan Topping

    French bread sliced into 1 inch thick slices
    1 1/2 cup milk
    1 cup half and half
    2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

    Topping
    1/2 cup soft butter
    1/4 cup light brown sugar
    1/4-1/2 cup chopped pecans
    1 tablespoon light corn syrup

    Place meal slice in greased 9 x 11 inch pans (or individual casserole dishes). Combine ingredients and pour over meal in greased pan. Mix topping and spread over bread. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown and puffy
