    5 pieces of sirloin cubed steaks
    seasoning salt
    black pepper
    paprika
    1 medium Vidalia onion, halved and sliced thin
    1 (14 1/2 oz) can of beef broth
    1 (12 oz.) jar beef gravy
    1 (8 oz) can sliced mushrooms

    Recipe



    In food storage bag, tenderize the cube steaks with a meal mallet, until they are thin. Remove steaks from bag and season each side of the steaks with seasoning salt, black pepper, and paprika.
    In a large fry pan coated with vegetable spray, saute' steaks until they are brown on each side. Remove the steaks from the pan and set aside. Add onions to the pan and saute'. Once the onions are done, add the steaks back to the pan and add the broth, bring to a boil and cover, reduce heat, simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour or til done, the liquid should be reduced and thickened. Add the beef gravy and mushrooms and allow to simmer another 10-20 minutes or until heated through. Serve steaks with mashed potatoes or rice.

    Yield: 5 servings.
