A tasty but fairly inexpensive Southwestern dish to feed a hungry family.
List of Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
12 oz salsa
1 c. frozen corn, thawed and drained
1 c. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
1 tbls. chile powder
2 c. crushed corn tortilla chips
2 c. cheese
Recipe
Break up and cook the ground beef until well browned.
Add salsa, corn, salad dressing and chili powder.
In a 2 qt. cassarole dish, layer as follows:
1/2 of the beef, 1/2 of the chips, 1/2 cheese and then repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Top with lettuce and tomato for a complete meal in one dish.
