    Brioche Loaf - Processor Method

    No need to pass Brioche by ever again because it’s such a bother to make. This is so easy.

    1 package yeast
    1/4 cup very warm milk
    1 tablespoon sugar
    2 cups unbleached flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup frozen butter, cut into 8 pieces
    2 eggs, beaten

    Proof yeast in the warm milk, with the sugar.
    Place flour and salt in the processor bowl.
    Cut butter into the flour, processing for 20 seconds.
    Add yeast and process 5 seconds.
    Add eggs and process until dough forms on the blade.
    Knead until smooth 2 minutes.
    Place in a greased bowl, cover tightly and let rise until double.
    Punch dough down and place in a 5 cup loaf pan.
    Let rise again until double.
    Preheat oven to 350 F.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes

    This is the perfect bread for canapes, or any sandwich asking for a sturdy bread.
