    No Knead Feather Rolls


    These are so easy and fast to make. They are one of my standbys and have been for 40 years.

    1 cup water
    1/4 cup butter
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 package yeast
    1/4 cup water
    1 egg, beaten
    3 cups AP flour

    Heat water, add butter, sugar and salt. Stir until butter is melted. Cool to 115 F.
    Sprinkle with yeast to proof.
    Add flour and then the egg.
    Beat, it will be too soft to knead.
    Set to rise.
    Stir down and spoon into 2 inch muffin pans and let rise to double.
    Preheat oven to 425 F
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

    Makes about 18 rolls
