    Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

    1 cup butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    3 eggs
    3 cups flour
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup cultured sour cream
    1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
    1/2 firmly packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

    Preheat oven to 350°F
    Grease and flour an 13x9x2 inch pan.

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
    Spoon half of batter into prepared pan.

    Combine chocolate, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/2 of chocolate mixture over the batter. Top with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate mixture.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until cake tests done.

    Serve warm or at room temperature.
