    Pumpkin Squares

    Crust
    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup quick oats, uncooked
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter or margarine.

    Filling
    1 can (16 ounces) pumpkin
    1 can (13 ounces) evaporated milk (1 2/3 cups)
    2 eggs
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ginger
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

    Topping
    1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 cup walnuts, chopped
    1/4 cup butter
    2 tablespoons flour

    Preheat oven to 375 F. Generously grease and flour 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

    Crust
    Combine first 3 ingredients for crust. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until crust is light golden brown. Reduce oven temperature to 350 F.
