    Beef Brisket

    ! beef brisket, trimmed of all fat
    1 envelope onion soup mix ( I use Lipton)
    1 bottle of chili sauce (I use Heinz)
    1 12 ounce bottle of coke

    Preheat oven to 350 F
    Brown the beef, on all sides in a Dutch Oven.
    Add the mix, chili sauce and coke.
    Cover and bake for 4 hours.
    Skim off the fat that has accumulated
    Chill in sauce.
    Remove to carving board, and cut into slices.
    Reheat in sauce and serve.
