Sausage Rotini
List of Ingredients
- Rotini pasta cooked
- 3/4 lb. hot Italian Sausage, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 red pepper, chopped
- 1 540 ml. can of spicy tomatoes, chopped, keep juice
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp. of oregano and basil
- 1/2 tbsp. garlic
Instructions
- Saute sausage. Add onion and peppers. Continue cooking till sausage is fully cooked and vegetables are crisp.
- Stir in tomatoes and juice. Add spices.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve over cooked pasta, sprinkle with grated cheese.
Final Comments
If you are unable to find hot sausage and an extra 1 to 2 tsp. of oregano and basil.
Sausage is easier to cut when partially frozen.
