    Sausage Rotini


    List of Ingredients


    • Rotini pasta cooked
    • 3/4 lb. hot Italian Sausage, thinly sliced
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
    • 1/2 red pepper, chopped
    • 1 540 ml. can of spicy tomatoes, chopped, keep juice
    • grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tbsp. of oregano and basil
    • 1/2 tbsp. garlic


    Instructions


    1. Saute sausage. Add onion and peppers. Continue cooking till sausage is fully cooked and vegetables are crisp.
    2. Stir in tomatoes and juice. Add spices.
    3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
    4. Serve over cooked pasta, sprinkle with grated cheese.


    Final Comments


    If you are unable to find hot sausage and an extra 1 to 2 tsp. of oregano and basil.

    Sausage is easier to cut when partially frozen.
