    Banana Bran Muffins

    1 cup sifted flour
    2 tsp sugar
    2 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup whole bran
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cup mashed ripe bananas
    1/4 cup milk
    2 tsp oil

    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in bran. Mix remaining ingredients. Add all at once to flour
    mixture, stirring until just moistened. Fill
    greased muffin pan. Bake @ 400 degrees 20-25 minutes.
