    Chocolate Cocoanut Squares

    Bottom:
    2 tbls butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 egg yolks (beaten)

    Sift together:
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/4 cup cocoa

    Mix with 1/2 cup milk and bake @ 20 minutes @ 350º.

    Top:
    2 egg whites
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 cups dessicated cocoanut

    Chocolate Icing

    Whip 2 egg whites and add 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in 2 cups cocoanut.
    Spread on bottom. Return to oven and cook until light brown (a few minutes).
    Remove and while still hot, ice with chocolate icing.
