Strawberry Dessert

1 Angel Food Cake
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1 pkg strawberry jello
1 pint strawberry ice cream
1 envelop dream whip
3 tbls icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup cocoanut (optional)
Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Add water to make
2 cups of juice. Bring to a boil and add jello. Mix. Add
ice cream and stir until melted. Break cake into large pieces.
Put in 9 X 13 inch cake pan. Place in row of cake and then pour one half
of jello mixture. Repeat with remaining pieces of cake and then jello mixture.
Beat cream, sugar, vanilla. Spread over top and chill and cover with cocoanut.
This recipe is best if left to stand overnight.
